Monongahela Valley Hospital employees and physicians invite the community to kick off the holiday season at its 30th Annual Light-Up Night on Monday, November 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the hospital's outdoor Central Plaza.

A tradition for the Mon Valley community, this colorful, magical evening will feature Frosty the Snowman, free cocoa, and a sing-along before two appointed children flip the giant light switch to illuminate the holiday decorations throughout campus.

Charleroi High School Show Choir singers will sing carols and entertain the crowd and an ensemble from a local high school marching band will lead Santa's sleigh onto campus.

Guests are encouraged to bring cameras to capture their young ones sitting in Santa's sleigh, visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus and posing by the two-story Christmas tree.

Parking will be free in the hospital's parking garage for those exiting after 7 p.m.

For more information, contact MVH's Community Relations Department at 724-258-1234.
