Once again, the Washington County Farm Bureau Food Drive has brought in thousands of pounds of food. The food drive has been taking place for at least 10 years, and it continues to grow in popularity. "Each year we bring in more food," stated Don Carter, who is in charge of the food drive. "We were happy with what we collected this year. We had a pretty good turnout," he continued. .

This year's drive started on February 1st and lasted through the end of March. The were the results of the drive are posted below, and the Washington County Farm Bureau is always looking for more businesses to participate. Any business interested in participating can reach out to Don Carter at doncarter1361@yahoo.com.
Don also noted, "We are also preparing for our annual Washington County Farm Bureau Legislative farm tour. Please mark Thursday, August 27th on your calendar. This is an opportunity for legislators and farmers to get together." So save the date and come on out to support the Washington County Farm Bureau!
