On Saturday, July 25 at 5 p.m., a Hope Dinner will take place to for people in the community who are in need and experiencing financial difficulties.

Dinner 1
People who attend the Hope Dinner have a good time while enjoying a good meal in good company.

It is an elegant, formal, sit-down dinner and is completely free and open to the public. The dinner features crisp white linen tablecloths, fine china, and beautiful centerpieces and resembles a fancy wedding. Servers dressed in white shirts and black pants attend the tables with a four-course meal, beginning with an appetizer, followed by salad, the entree, and finally, a dessert.

Music is playing during their meal and there is a speaker to give an encouraging message. Prayer is offered to anyone wanting it after dinner.

The idea behind the whole meal is to serve those who need it the most. Although they may not be able to afford such a nice meal otherwise, they are still worth it and have great value and purpose in their life, despite their current financial difficulties. There is hope for all.

The dinners are held once a month on a Saturday evening and have been taking place for five years.

The dinner will take place at Central Assembly of God Church, 155 McGovern Road, Houston, PA. For more information, please call 724-746-4900.
