SUMMER CONCERT SERIES IN THE PARK
Come out to the Peterswood Park outdoor amphitheater for a free concert series from 7-9 p.m. Bring a picnic and a blanket or chairs to sit and enjoy the show. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved indoors to the Community Recreation Center.
• August 5- Scott Blasey
Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Scott Blasey is the lead singer of the Clarks and a solo recording artist. In addition to his success with the band, Scott has an established solo career with the release of 3 acclaimed albums.
• August 19 - de’ja'vu
The de’ja'vu band is a classic oldies band performing sounds from the 1950s, the 1960s, and the early 1970s. They have opened for nationally acclaimed oldies acts such as the Crystals, the Vogues, and Sha Na Na.

Senior Picnic with Special Guest Bobby Shawn
Join the Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department at this month’s senior picnic, featuring special guest Bobby Shawn! Back by popular demand, Bobby entertains his audiences with a variety of music, including big band, jazz, pop, rock and roll, Italian songs, country, and polka. This is a free event, but we encourage you to bring along a covered dish to share. Hotdogs, hamburgers, and refreshments will also be provided at no cost. Bring a friend to join in on the food, fun, and entertainment! In case of inclement weather, the picnic will be moved inside to our Community Recreation Center. This luncheon is sponsored in conjunction with the Area Agency on Aging.

Playground Pals Day Camp at Elm Grove Park
Children ages 4-8 years old are invited to join us for games, sports, crafts, and special visitors! The Peters Township Parks and Recreation is offering three 1-week sessions throughout the month of August. Pre-registration is required at the Community Recreation Center or online. Fishing Derby at Peters Lake Park
Join us for the 16th Annual McMurray Rotary and Peters Township Fishing Derby at Peters Lake Park. All kids in grades kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to participate. Awards will be given for the largest fish, smallest fish, the first fish caught, and the most fish caught! Don’t miss this chance to win great prizes! Smaller prizes are awarded just for participating! Pre-registration is suggested – call 724-942-5000.
