CASA for Kids, Inc. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that advocates for abused and neglected children in the Washington County court system. These trained volunteers become the voice that focuses on the child’s needs and best interest.

The CASA for Kids program is holding a fall training class for interested community members beginning on October 5th, 2015. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks. Clearances are required. Informational open houses are being held throughout Washington County. Schedule as follows:
• Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Citizen’s Library, 55 South College Street, Washington, PA - 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Burgettstown Library, 2 Kerr Street, Burgettstown, PA - 10:30 am- noon
• Friday, September 11, 2015 at Monongahela Library, 813 West Main Street, Monongahela, PA - 2 p.m.- 4 p.m.
