The Friends of South Park Library have been serving their community for 41 years. They are hoping residents of South Park and Finleyville will join or rejoin them by becoming a member of the Friends' 2015-2016 year. They'll start their 42nd year in October. Businesses are welcome to join in supporting their efforts as well.
South Park library is for everyone of any age, as are the programs they have. The Friends continue to sponsor fitness classes, book sales, and educational classes. Funds raised are used to support our library with books, equipment, and materials needed for adult/children's programs throughout the year.
Keeping Friends a successful organization is a joint effort. Please renew your current membership or become a NEW Friends member. Membership is $10 - individual, $15 - family, $30 or more for businesses. Lifetime is $500. Cash or check must be accompanied by a membership form, which can be obtained at South Park Library on the "FRIENDS" info stand, or online at www.southparklibrary.org/spfriends.htm. Just print out a form, fill it in, and send it back with cash or check. Please mark checks with "membership." Mail the completed form to the address on the form or drop it off at the library.
