Many kids and adults got quite an end-of-summer surprise in Elizabeth Township. On Friday, August 21st, Mikey, the beloved teenage mutant ninja turtle, showed up unannounced at Frosty Cone to the delight of many astounded children. He even shared some ice cream with them.

Ninja Turtle shows up in Elizabeth Township

On Saturday, August 22nd, he surprised local 6-year-old Natalie Taylor of Buena Vista and her family at there home. As Mikey says about the visit, "Natalie is the biggest ninja turtle fan I've met so far! Her expression when I showed up was priceless."

Colten Sunseri, who poses as Mikey, considers himself to be a big kid himself and decided about a year ago to combine his love of costumes and the teenage mutant ninja turtles to do something nice for his community. He has shown up at various places such as Pirates games, OSPTA, and local ice cream places. He also has Children's Hospital scheduled and books parties for $75 an hour.

Colten, a 26-year-old originally from Wheeling, puts on the 20-pound suit with help from his girlfriend, Samantha Meyers. They say they have as many adults wanting a picture as children do.

To book a party or to Colten for a visit, please see him on the Facebook/Twitter pages at TMNTPITT or email him at tmntpitt@yahoo.com.
