The Historic Village of Venetia declares an Open House and Peters Township Chamber of Commerce Mixer Thursday Oct 8 from 5-7 p.m.
The scenic village of Venetia was at the forefront of the frontier being settled in this area in the late 1700's and has maintained its charm among all the current surrounding growth which again has its cornerstone right in the village. The Venetia Heritage society provides the backdrop for this one night open house bridging history to hospitality among the classrooms of the former Venetia School.
Enjoy happy hour snacks and beverages from The Country Store, The Open restaurant, national recognized DARE model railroad club, Peters Creek Historical Society, and Wrights United Methodist Church.
