The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF)’s Building Charitable Capacity Learning Institute will host a Fundraising 101 workshop on Thursday, March 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Samuel T. Brownlee House, 1253 Route 519, Eighty Four, PA.

The workshop, designed for executive staff and charity board members, will cover fundraising basics including: annual appeal, solicitation letters, online grant applications, event fundraising, and days of giving.

The presenter will be Michael Grzesiak, Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations at Washington & Jefferson College. Previously, Mr. Grzesiak served as a Gift Planning Officer at both the Cleveland Foundation and Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS) Foundation. He holds a B.A. in English from Hiram College and M.A. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis.
