Baldwin Library is holding its second annual Touch-a-Truck community event on June 25 at the Baldwin Borough Municipal Building, 3344 Churchview Ave, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will be a “no horn zone” from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Cost is a $10 donation per family, or $5 per individual (whichever is less).

Touch-a-Truck is a community event where trucks of all shapes and sizes are brought together and parked in one location for families, kids and adults to see, touch, take pictures, climb on or in (if the truck owner allows) and learn about how the truck operates and what the organization does with the truck. There is a small admission fee for attendees to enter the event, as it is a fundraiser for the library, but its affordable fun for the whole family.

There will also be food, drink and hands-on activities for kids. For 2016, the police will also be on hand to ID and fingerprint your kids for free as part of a ‘keeping kids safe’ program!

To see the variety of trucks coming, check out the website…more trucks are being added each day. Also on the website, for anyone who has a unique truck or vehicle and would be interested in participating, you can download a participation form to send to the library. The website is http://baldwinborolibrary.org/touch-a-truck-fundraiser/.
