Peters Township Park and Recreation Department is offering the following summer camps at the Community Center. All classes, including youth/teen and adult programs, can be viewed at www. peterstownship.com on the Parks and Recreation web page. The Rec Center is located at 700 Meredith Drive, Venetia.
SUMMER CAMPS AND SUMMER DAY CAMPS
(AGES 6 – 11 YEARS)
Three 1-week sessions for children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. Enjoy sports, crafts, hikes, music, games, special visitors/speakers and more at Peterswood Park!
Day: Monday – Friday (Weeks of July 11, July 18, and July 25)
Time: 9 a.m. – Noon
Fee: $55 member / $83 non-member (per week / per child)
Location: Peterswood Park, Shelter #4
Pre-registration required at the Community Recreation Center or online.
PLAYGROUND PALS
(AGES 4 – 8 YEARS)
Three 1-week sessions for children who enjoy games, sports, crafts and using their imagination. Guest speakers will be present.
Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Weeks of August 1, August 8 and August 15)
Time: 9:30 a.m. – Noon
Fee: $35 Member / $53 Non-Member (per week / per child)
Location: Elm Grove Park

OLYMPIC MULTI-SPORTS CAMP
(AGES 5 – 12 YEARS)
Children are grouped by age and divided into countries to learn about and play a wide variety of Olympic sports, including soccer, hockey, team handball, and track and field. Campers learn about the culture and history of their adopted country. Instructor: Jump Start Sports
Day: June 27 – July 1
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Full day); 9 a.m. – Noon (Half Day)
Fee: Full day $125 member / $ 188 non-member
Fee: Half Day $90 member / $135 non-member
PRESCHOOL PIRATE ADVENTURE
(AGES 3 – 5 YEARS)
Minimum 6 – Maximum 20
Ahoy, Mateys! Set sail on a pirate adventure at Peters Lake Park! Explore the lake for natural treasures, create your own eye patch, and participate in fun activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Instructor: Recreation Staff
Day: Wednesday, June 15 Time: 11 a.m. – Noon
Fee: $5 Member / $8 Non-Member (per child)
Location: Peters Lake Park
