The Marsh Tire team took 1st place at the Melvin B. Bassi Memorial Golf Tournament held at Nemacolin Country Club on June 2, 2016 with a score of 55 (-17). Pictured are (l-r) Kevin Mollis, Luke Mollis, Brett Young, and Brian Corrin.

Prizes for longest drive were given to Matt Rayman and Mark Ingold,and longest putts were made by Derek Zdravecky (29’4”) and Joe Pelzer (62’11”). Closest to the pin were Luke Mollis (5’) and Vic Vitale (13”).

The Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts the golf tournament each year in memory of Melvin B. Bassi. The proceeds fund scholarships to Leadership Washington County, California University, and Douglas Education Center. This year’s event drew 116 golfers and guests.
