The nuns of the Divine Redeemer hosted their annual flea market on June 1 – 4, 2016. The first day they had a line out the door with eager people just waiting to get in to find themselves a bargain.

As the market days progressed, the people kept coming. They had everything you could hope for, from kitchen items and bedroom items to crafts and outdoor decor. Prices were fair and affordable.

When asked on the first day, the sisters said they would like to bring in more this year than last year which was estimated around $3,000. Funds brought in from these popular flea market days help to cover expenses in and around the mother house and the landscaping costs. When asked at the end of the last day how much they brought in, the ballpark figure was more than last year at around $3,800, though the exact amount was not yet known.

A few of the nuns confirmed that they will be continuing the annual tradition next year and hope to see familiar faces as well as new faces.
