New Eagle Borough Council voted at the June 7 monthly meeting on the manner in which to publish the updated ordinances once completed. Council considered placing all ordinances and resolutions on the borough webpage but determined that option time-consuming and not cost-effective.

The updated ordinances will be made available to residents upon request and can be received via email. The ordinances will also be available at the borough building.

Also at the meeting, Council heard from a resident on Rush Avenue concerning a pipe drainage area next to his driveway, requesting a covering be placed over the area. Council plans to install a catch basin to remedy the issue.

In other business, the borough maintenance report included the installation of military banners, mowing, catch basin repairs, assisting Monongahela with paving, and regular maintenance at the borough shop.

Additionally grass and weed citations were issued, and two junk vehicles were removed from the borough.
