An inter-municipal sewage service agreement was approved which includes the filing of an Act 537 plan, the assessment of the appropriate fees, the allocation of costs that will determine the billing process and establishing the rights and obligations of all parties to said agreement. This agreement is between South Park Township, the Municipality of Bethel Park and Bethel Park’s Municipal Authority, as well as Union Township.

The Township granted preliminary and final approval for the minor subdivision identified as the Consol Mining Company LLC., R&D Property Plan for the property located at 4000 Brownsville Rd.

Two public hearings will be held at the next Supervisor’s meeting. One has been scheduled for October 12 at 6:15 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is for the Board to receive public comment on the amendment to the ordinance addressing oil and gas activities, being Ordinance No. 678. A second hearing will be held to address the wireless communication ordinance, being Ordinance No. 556 on zoning, which will be held on October 12 at 6:45 p.m., where public comment will also be received regarding the amendment of the ordinance.

A payment request submitted by Plavchak Construction in the amount of $8,642.50 was approved for the work completed to date on the project identified as the 2016 Point Repair Contract.
