Municipal News

Thursday, September 15, 2016 was an exciting night for Elizabeth Township Area EMS. In addition to taking delivery of a new ambulance, the organization was presented with two very prestigious recognitions.

Elizabeth Township EMS Awards

The first of these was presented by Alexander Kuhn of the American Heart Association (AHA). Mr. Kuhn presented the organization with a special recognition associated with the AHA’s Mission Lifeline Project (heart.org) for providing superior care for patients experiencing cardiac emergencies.

The second award was presented by Curtis Neill of UPMC Prehospital Care. Mr. Neill spoke on behalf of the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (caas.org) and presented ETA-EMS with their Certificate of National Accreditation for meeting the highest standards of the EMS industry.
