Congressman Tim Murphy's (PA-18) congressional resolution to officially rename the Canonsburg Post Office as the ‘Police Officer Scott Bashioum Post Office Building’ after fallen Canonsburg Police Officer Scott Bashioum (H.R. 1950) will be taken up by the House Committee on Oversight & Government Reform. Officer Bashioum was ambushed and killed in the line of duty last November.

Rostraver Township Joins Westmoreland County Land Bank
The Board of Directors of the Westmoreland County Land Bank today announced that Rostraver Township is the latest municipality to join the countywide land bank, along with the Belle Vernon Area School District.
