The sounds of praise and music will once again echo through Chess Park in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, when that community celebrates with the 12th annual “Praise and Worship in the Park,” on Saturday, August 13 from noon to 8 p.m.

A number of area churches, ministries and non-profit organizations will join together for this day of praise, music, and fellowship.

A variety of activities are planned, including all-day musical performances, children's activities, and food and informational booths.

Musicians scheduled to appear, beginning at noon, include but are not limited to, Journey by Grace Praise Band, Shepherd's Voice, 1st Christian Church Praise Team, 1st Baptist Church of Monongahela, and special guest headliner for the night - From the Top - will take the stage at 7 p.m. From the Top Is a group comprised of local musicians with a heart for using there talents to honor the Lord. The event is sponsored by the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

There will be a worship service in the park on Sunday morning, Aug 14 at 9:30a.m. All are welcome to attend.

This year, again there will be a FREE concert for area youth on Friday, August 12, at 6 p.m. in Chess Park. Red Letter Hymnal will be performing. Free refreshments ,drinks and prizes will be given away. Sponsored by Go Time Ministries.
