Please join the congregation of Holy Family Parish 225 N Second Street, West Newton on Epiphany Sunday, January 7 at 2 p.m. for the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.
The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is a service of worship celebrating the birth of Jesus that is traditionally followed at Christmas. The story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus are told in nine short Scripture readings from Genesis, the prophetic books and the gospels interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir music. This is open to all who wish to continue the joy of the Christmas season.
