There is a lot going on at Windover Hills UMC, located at 6751 Ridge Road in South Park, in the month of May.
The MOPS of Windover Hills will have their annual May Market on Saturday, May 2 starting at 7 a.m.. On Sunday, May 3 at the 11 a.m. service the MOPS moms will be in attendance and will share during the service.
On Mother's Day, May 10 we will honor all of the women in attendance with a gift and our children's choir will be with us to sing for our mothers.
On Friday, May 15 there will be an old-fashioned hoedown. The doors open at 7 p.m. and everyone is asked to bring some type of snack to share. This is a family event.
On Sunday the 24 we will have one combined service at 10 a.m. to celebrate our fourteen confirmation youth. After the service there will be a fellowship meal in celebration of their commitment to faith.
Men's ministry meets on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. and on Sunday night at 6 p.m. Women's ministry meets on Monday nights at 7:30 p.m.
Windover Hills UMC will be sponsoring a community flee market on July 11 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in their fellowship hall. An 8 ft. table space costs $15 each for those who would like to sell. The church will have a snack bar set up. Registration forms are on the church website at www.windoverhills.com and questions can be emailed to Elaine at shnwindover@gmail.com. The proceeds from this event will support the Stop Hunger Now food packaging event that Windover will have in the fall. There is no admission at the door and all are welcome.
