Jefferson Regional Foundation recently brought Saltworks Theater to Clairton Elementary. The Saltwork Theater Company presented "Alex Rewrites the Wrong."

Saltworks is a non-profit, professional arts company based out of Pittsburgh, PA. The performances address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of children, youth, and families through the creation and performance of contemporary dramatic works.
The show encouraged students to be leaders by doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. Inspired by Sean Covey’s book, ‘7 Habits of Happy Kids,’ this interactive play inspired the children to be proactive in order to see change in their lives and to be a leader in starting that change.
The play educated students that they should live according to principles such as responsibility, compromise, teamwork, and respect. Grades 3-5 enjoyed the presentation and asks questions following the 60-minute performance.
