The Science Fair was made mandatory for 5th grade this year, but it was optional for the 3rd and 4th graders. The 5th grade worked in teams of 3 or 4 students, and the 3rd and 4th graders could work in groups of no more than 2 students.

There were 23 team projects submitted by 5th grade and 15 individual/group projects submitted by 3th and 4th grade students. The judging was performed by Ringgold High School seniors Lauren Niziol, Lauren Suppo, and Megan Williams for 3rd and 4th grades and Noah Trunzo, Drew Hrycko and Rachel Guarnoni for 5th grade. All of the judges are enrolled in advanced placement biology and/or organic chemistry classes at RHS.

Special thanks also goes out to all of the RESN faculty and administrative staff that helped to make the science fairs such great successes. Everyone did an outstanding job!
