On Tuesday, November 24th, Clairton City School District hosted its annual ‘Thankful for Senior Citizens’ event.

This event is sponsored by the elementary Student Leadership group, high school National Honor Society, and Sophomore Council. Approx 50 senior citizens from the community gathered in the high school auditorium for desserts sponsored by the staff and Clairton Education Association and beverages sponsored by Ms. Gaynor and Nutrition Inc. Entertainment was provided by Clairton Elementary's music department and Mr. Kevin Danchik. Pictured are the elementary singers singing a Thanksgiving song.
