Lenten Almsgiving Takes Place at St. Sebastian Regional School

As part of the eighth graders’ Lenten almsgiving at St. Sebastian Regional School, a monetary collection was conducted for safe drinking water for the homeless and less fortunate.  Money raised was given to the Fayette City Food Bank.  The school families donated.  Shown here are (l-r) Gayle Pokol, Anne DeForest, Tommy Barron, Mikaela Ryan, and (seated) Ian Maloney.

St. Sebastian Regional Holds Beautiful Eyes Contest

The middle school students at St. Sebastian Regional School recently conducted a "Beautiful Eyes Contest" to raise money for the Mon Valley Chapter of the American Cancer Society.  Accepting the donation on behalf of the charity is staff person Nancy Verderber, pictured (l-r) with students Alexis Olup, Gina Beneccio, and Sarah Bury. $107.50 was collected through the generous support of the school community.
