The Center is located at 103 East Main Street, West Newton, PA and can be reached at 724 - 872 - 4976. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

The Center offers many daily and weekly activities: cards, puzzles, Wii bowling, ping pong, trivia, crafts, pool, nutrition and socialization. Lunch is at noon every day. Food is ordered a week ahead of time so please make your reservation by Tuesday. There is also Bible study, bingo, exercise and cards.

 Monthly bus trips are always offered – Stop by the Center and get all the details. Sign up early, the buses fill fast!

UPCOMING BUS TRIPS

Bus Trip to Middletown, PA – Saturday, September 17 departing at 6 a.m. from the WN Volunteer Fireman’s lot and 6:15 from the Rt 70, Rt 201 Belle Vernon Exit Park n Ride. Cost: $115. Includes bus, tours, driver tip, and lunch. Enjoy an 11-mile round trip train ride along the Swatara Creek while learning history of the area on a 1910s Vintage Delaware Lackawanna & Western Coach. Lunch at Alfred's 1800 Victorian Manson; choice of penne marinara or Victorian chicken wrap. At 1:30 p.m. we'll go on the Pride of the Susquehanna River paddle boat, and at 3:30 p.m., we'll do the Lake Tobias Safari, where specially designed cruisers take you across 150 acres of rolling land to see herds of wild and exotic animals. One-Day Bus Trip to Christmas Shaker in the Woods –  Sunday, October 9 departing from the WN Volunteer Fireman’s lot at 8 a.m. and 8:15 rom the Rt 70, Rt 201 Belle Vernon Exit Park n Ride.  Cost: $40. One-Day Bus Trip to to Belmont, Ohio - Saturday, Oct 22. Cost:  $76. Includes bus, driver tip, all tours and lunch. 9 a.m. - National Imperial Glass Museum of Bellaire Ohio - tour museum and gift shop. 10:30 a.m. - Belmont County Sheriffs Residence Museum. 11:30 a.m.  - Lunch at St Clairsville Cracker Barrel - order from the menu. 2 p.m. - Belmont County Victorian Mansion of Barnesville. 3:30 p.m. - Dickinson Cattle Ranch, longhorn tour. The 75-minute tour takes you across the foothill pastures in a bus. Depart for home  at 6 p.m. Full payment is your reservation Send your check to WN Sr. Center, 103 E.
