West Newton Center for Active Adults is located at 103 E. Main St. in West Newton. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call Lisa at 724-872-4976 to receive by email our monthly Shout Out publication with all of our events listed.

Lunch: Donation: $2. Phone one week ahead to order your lunches.

On-Site Full Service Beauty Shop: Call and ask for Judy to make your appointment.

Daily Activities: Daily card playing, pool, Wii bowling (league just started), Tuesday and Wednesday bingo, Tuesday Bible study, book club - call and sign up with Rose Marie.

Coffee and Canvas: $20, art instructor, canvas and all paints.

Exercise with Fallon: Strength over-50 special program to reduce the risk of falling, build strength, increase flexibility, improve movement and balance, Wednesdays and Fridays starting from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Casino Trips: Wednesday, March 16 to the Meadows. $25 with $25 free play. April 9 and 10 to Wheeling Casino and Mountaineer. Single $150, Double $105, Triple $90 and Quad $83. $25 free play daily and free breakfast. May 23 to Rocky Gap Casino. $25 and $20 free play. July 19 to Wheeling Casino. $25 and $25 free play.
