The Peters Township Parks & Recreation Department will be holding the following activities for seniors during the month of August. For additional information, or questions, call 724-942-5000.
SENIOR PICNICS
Picnics are held on the second Wednesday of each month and include entertainment, an interesting speaker or interactive activity. This is a free event, but we ask that you bring a covered dish or dessert to share. Grilled hotdogs or hamburgers are provided.
Date: Wednesday, August 8 - That Guy with the Birds!
Time: 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
Location: Shelter 4 – Peterswood Park
SENIOR SERIES
Enjoy the morning with us at the Amphitheater in Peterswood Park! These unique opportunities are free for seniors and will include light breakfast options. Please bring your own lawn chair.
Date: August 23 - “Comedy, Coffee and Cake” (Comedian)
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
