The Clairton Area AARP #1612 will begin their 2019 year of activities on Wednesday, March 27 at Wilson Presbyterian Church, 400 N. 4th Street, Clairton.

Donuts and coffee will be available at 9:30 AM followed by a brief meeting. The March entertainment will be a celebration of Pittsburgh through pictures and music presented by Bob Cahalan. Following the entertainment, a hot sandwich will be served for $3/members and $4/non-members.

The tour committee has some great trips planned for 2019 beginning March 23 with a visit to the O’Reilly Theatre to see “A Doll’s House”-Part 2. Future trips include a visit to Virginia Beach to watch an amazing military tattoo, the Mountain Playhouse in Jennerstown, Greensburg to see “The Lettermen,” and a visit to The Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina. That’s just a few of the many trips planned by our committee. Please call Margie at (724) 872-1165 for more information.

You can call Kathy Weigand at (412) 854-0594 for a copy of their most recent newsletter containing details of future meetings and all the upcoming trips.
