The following information is for the Venetia Community Center, located at 800 Venetia Rd., Venetia, PA. We are sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging.
July was a great month, with a visit and a delicious lunch served at the Paramount Senior Living, located in Peters Township on E. McMurray Road. Thank you for your hospitality.
Programs for August are as follows:
August 14 - Sam Baer will be our guest speaker from Senior Life of Washington. We will have some interesting information and also play bingo with prizes for some to take home.August 28 - Our entertainment will be Reverend Richard Roberts as our guest soloist on the guitar. Promising to be a fun and interesting afternoon.
All the above entertainment takes place after a delicious lunch prepared by the Canonsburg Senior Center and delivered to our center by volunteers and served by volunteers from our center. This is a catered lunch and reservations are required by calling Erma Grego at 724-941-6956.
Birthdays for August are Virginia Gaul, Tawny Patterson and Edna Russell. Wedding anniversaries are Alice and Bill Collar and Jim and Lois Obringer. Many happy returns to all.
