Senior lunches are served at the Venetia Community Center on the 2nd Thursday and the 4th Thursday of the month at noon.
They are sponsored by the Washington County Aging Services and Southwestern Pennsylvania Area on Aging. All seniors are welcome! Please call Esther to reserve your meal at 724-348-6504. Prior to the lunch, Sharon Rice from the Caring Mission will conduct blood pressure screenings from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
On March 12, Sam Baer from Senior Life will sponsor a grocery bingo.
On March 26, Cindy Linville from the Home Rehabilitation Program and the Community Development Block Grant will discuss funds that have been made available to benefit local senior citizens for home repair. There are basic eligibility requirements.
