On Wednesday, July 6, 2016, the Rostraver Township Board of Commissioners congratulated the Rostraver Youth Baseball 12 and under little league team on capturing the District 9 Little League Crown. Rostraver won the Little League Pennsylvania District 9 Championship with a 5-3 victory over Mt. Pleasant in Carmichaels.

Members of the team are: 5-Zach Jackson; 7- Dane Anden; 11-Aidan Ochs; 12-Joey Falosk; 15-Jack Bryer; 18-Logan Hoffman; 21-Tyler Kovatch; 22-Brady Hoffman; 25-Andrew Sokol; 34- Seamus Joyce; 41-Ryan McGrew; 99-Andrew Kostelnik. Coaches: Scott Bryer; Tom Jackson; Aaron Ochs; and Scott Sokol.
