Sports

Ron Necciai was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame as the 19th Mid Mon Valley chapter inductee. Proceedings were held for the 52nd Annual State Induction Ceremony Saturday, November 8 at the Woodlands Inn and Resort Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Cope, Western chapter for sportswriter-broadcaster; Bob Donato, Delaware County chapter as a basketball official; Harry M. Kalas deceased, Delaware County chapter for baseball broadcasting; George Karver, Bucks County chapter for track and field; John M. McDonald, Allen-Rogowicz chapter for football and track; Dr. Robert Mlkvy, Carbon County Area chapter for basketball; Lance Rautzhan, Allen-Rogowicz chapter for baseball.
