The Ringgold Rams opened their season at home by handing Thomas Jefferson their first regular season defeat in several years of Class AAA football.

Ringgold Rams Victory Celebration

For Rams fans, it was a wild wonderful night. The Ram Pound is back in full force and is as loud as ever, and both bands gave great half-time performances.

The Rams come-from-behind win with a score of 27-20 made for an exciting game. This well-coached team has some exceptional athletes with many playing on both sides of the ball.

The Big Ten Class AAA conference is loaded with talent this year. Not only are Ringgold and Thomas Jefferson contenders, but Belle Vernon, Elizabeth Forward, and Laurel Highlands all have strong teams and all have a good chance to make the WPIAL play-offs.
