The Friends of South Park Library just completed a banner year with their fundraising efforts.

September was National Preparedness Month, an observance to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time.

An invitation to "Show and Tell" personal articles of antique or historical interest is the program focus of the Peters Creek Historical Society on Monday, October 23.  This event will be held at 7:30PM at Wrights United Methodist Church, 788 Venetia Road in Venetia.Members, guests and the public are invited to a fall evening of interest, enjoyment in the items brought to surprise one and all.

Mojo’s Wallet, an Animal Aid Charity will be holding its annual fundraiser on Saturday, October 7 at the Rostraver Central Fire Department Social Hall.
