Winners of the Washington County Community Foundation’s (WCCF) 2016 Clicks for Cash competition gathered at the Foundation’s offices in Eighty Four to accept checks totaling $5,000 -- the largest pool of grants given to date in the web-based contest, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Gateway Health Plan.

The Friends of South Park have gifted a bocce court and two horseshoe pits to South Park! These courts are located at Edgebrook Field off Corrigan Drive and north of the black and yellow playground. The installation of both courts was made possible by William “Dirt” Dugan Landscaping out of Finleyville, PA.

The Borough of Jefferson Hills hosted its annual Summer Recreation Program for 185 children ages 5 through 12 at Gill Hall Park and 885 Andrew Reilly Memorial Park weekday mornings in July.

Using all proceeds to benefit the community, the Northside Beautification Committee will feature family-friendly tales of the supernatural at 13 properties on a guided walking tour on August 6 to raise additional funds for neighborhood projects.
