Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA) is excited to announce a new partnership with Monessen Communities that Care (CTC), located at 861 Donner Ave, Monessen, PA, to launch a free summer music outreach program for local youth. This initiative is part of MVAA's ongoing commitment to providing high-quality musical education and expanding its reach to more communities. The program marks MVAA's first expansion into Westmoreland County, building on its strong presence in Washington and Fayette Counties.
The California Borough Recreation Authority will hold 2024 ‘Riverfest’ on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday August 25. There will be plenty of food, and craft vendors, clothing and jewelry, live entertainment and fun for everyone! This exciting and fun-filled event will be held on lower Wood Street in downtown California.
Mon Valley Charities Receive Donations
The AP Delsandro Veterans Memorial Committee in Donora recently made donations of $750 each to four deserving local charites. The AP Delsandro charity is sponsoring its 39th annual golf outing on August 11 at Butler's Golf Course in Elizabeth. The group is also sponsoring a donor brick drive.
