Longtime Elizabeth Township Commissioner, Rob Rhoderick, earned the confidence, and support, of various community leaders upon his selection to the SouthEast Regional EMS Board of Directors.

The fledgling Regional EMS formulated in the fall of 2017, following the merger of Elizabeth Township Area EMS and Jefferson Hills Area EMS. The burgeoning organization services communities from Forward Township to Clairton, addressing the critical need for quality, streamlined emergency services in our region.

Rhoderick cited longstanding community ties as the catalyst for assuming this new role, stating, “As a husband, father, and elected official, I’ve always strived to actively explore different avenues to help people. Ensuring effective emergency services often means the difference between life and death. Our valued seniors, residents with disabilities, and those suffering from injuries and illnesses deserve to know that their leaders are working to safeguard their interests and promote public health.”

Rhoderick went on to say, “I’m honored to be a small part of such an important undertaking in our community. I’m optimistic that the organization will continue its already impressive growth and become a model for superior emergency medical services throughout the Commonwealth.”

This full-service medical care and transportation provider now boasts a comprehensive array of services, including, CPR and First Aid Training, EMS Bike Patrols, wheelchair vans, and advanced life support ambulance technology.
