Library News

The West Newton Public Library made the following announcements for March.

Hours: Monday and Thursday, 12-6 p.m.; Wednesday, 12-8 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

March 11 - Fundraiser dinner: Featuring stuffed chicken breast. $12 per person includes dinner, dessert, and drinks. Gary’s Chuckwagon, 109 S. 2nd St., West Newton. Call 724-872-8920 to purchase tickets. 4 - 7 p.m.

• Stop in and check out our new hardcover shelf, our sale shelf. Free library card issued with identification.
• We have PA Dept. of Revenue State forms and Federal forms as well as rent rebate booklets for your convenience.
• Donations of used unwanted and unused jewelry can be dropped off at the library for our next sale.
• Rings, bracelets, necklaces, pins, watches earrings, whether you are cleaning out an estate or just your private jewelry.
• Watch for our yearly fundraising letter to be sent out soon or mail your annual donation to the library.
