CASA for Kids, Inc. is a non-profit organization that trains community members (volunteers) to become Court Appointed Special Advocates who will speak up for the best interest of abused and neglected Child within the Court System of Washington County. These volunteers work as fact-finders by developing a relationship with the child, their family, and others who touch the child’s life.  CASA’S provide the judge with as much information as possible prior to the judge reaching a decision that will forever affect this Child’s life.  Representatives of the CASA for Kids program will be at the library on Friday, September 11th from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. to further inform the public about the program.
