Monessen Public Library & Cultural Center has copies of the new 2016 Enjoy Coupon Book at the Circulation Desk. They make great gifts, with a whole year of discounts for $30.
Preschool Storytime is designed for preschool children and consists of a story and craft each Monday night at 6 p.m. There will be no Storytime on December 7. On December 14: “Christmas Around the World” will be the theme. Preschool Storytime will then resume in February. Storytime in the morning is currently on winter hiatus and will return in April 2016.
The annual Holiday Boutique is open from 12-3 p.m. on days the library is open. Merchandise is new or gently used and reasonably priced. Do your holiday shopping at 326 Donner Avenue!
Holiday Closings - We will be closed on December 24-26 and December 31, January 1 and 2 so our staff can spend the holidays with their families.
The Mon Valley Genealogy Forum will not meet in December or January.
From December 1st through the 20th, for every item that you check out at the Monessen Public Library, you will receive a ticket for a drawing to win a gift basket full of coffee and coffee-related items. The basket contains two gift cards, two coffee mugs, and assorted blends of coffee.
