Teen Musical Theater – Tuesday, June 7 @ 1 p.m.
We are thrilled to have a Point Park University Musical Theater major leading teens in its first-ever summer musical! Students entering grades 6-12 are encouraged to participate in this fun production! Rehearsals will be held twice a week for two hours each day with a performance on August 5 at 7 p.m. at Harrison Middle School. You must be available for most of the practices and for the performance date. Parental permission forms are available at the library and must be completed before the first practice is held. Registration required.
Practice dates: Tuesdays, June 7-July 26 and Thursdays, June 9-July 28 from 1-3 p.m. at the Baldwin Library
Tech Week: August 1-4 from 1-4 p.m. at Harrison Middle School
Performance night: August 5 at 7 p.m. at Harrison Middle School

American Red Cross Babysitter Training and Certification – Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The American Red Cross will host a babysitter training course to provide knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for infants and children. This training will help participants develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, help manage behavior during babysitting, and learn basic child care and first aid.

This is a 7-hour course with a library discounted rate of $72.25/registrant which includes a take-home training handbook, emergency reference guide and CD-ROM. Training is available to anyone ages 11 and up. Younger siblings may not attend. Participants will need to bring a lunch. Payment due at the time of registration. You may register online but will need to bring cash or check to the library (payable to Baldwin Borough Public Library) so that we may secure your spot.

Discover 3D Printing – Wednesday, June 15 @ 6:30 p.m.
Join Aaron Hartman from Bits to Pieces and learn how 3D printing is going to change the world. This short lecture and demonstration is a beginner's guide to getting started with 3D printing. See a printer creating a part right before your eyes! This program is for anyone ages 8 and older (teens and adults too)! Registration required.

Up-Cycled Crochet with Emily Klaczak – Tuesday, June 28 @ 6:30 p.m.
Join Emily for a beginner class on knitting and crocheting. These classes are free, but you will need some materials, which are listed on our website. Registration required.
