Carrie Sabo first laid the groundwork for her group, “Helping Hands of Elizabeth Township,” in 2013, with the sole purpose of donating the money raised to families and organizations in need.

Raymond Schwartz and his two-year-old son, Noah, who has been battling stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer since March 2016.

Their first show, held in October 2016, aided the Kitty Sack Project, a group that provides sack lunches to children who do not have food to eat at school. The vendor shows are held from 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Elizabeth VFD, 107 Water Street, Elizabeth Borough. The 2017 shows have already been scheduled and are as follows:

• March 26 – Benefits “All in for Noah” to help a local boy battling cancer.
• July 16 – Benefits White Oak Safe Haven, which depends on donations to thrive.
• October 15 – Benefits Elizabeth VFD.

Sabo is especially appreciative of Norman Candelore, owner of Candelore's Barking Beauties. He and his daughter Kelsi have donated all of the printed advertising needed since the group's first show. Vendors interested in participating in the show can contact Sabo at helpinghandselizabethtownship@gmail.com.
