Peters Township Park and Recreation Department is offering the following classes at the Community Center. Pre-registration is required.
Registration is now open for session 2 (8 weeks in March / April). Classes begin March 6 unless otherwise stated. For more info, call 724-942-5000. Some classes that will be offered:
Friday Night Flicks
Popcorn and refreshments will be provided; just bring along a pillow or blanket to sit on. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required for children and adults.
Dates: Friday, March 17 - The Secret Life of Pets (rated PG)
Time: 6:30 p.m. (movie begins at 7 p.m.)
Snack Fee: $3 Member/ $5 Non-Member
Fly Fishing Basics
(Ages 12 – Adults)
Minimum 5 – Maximum 10
Learn the basics of fly fishing. Instructors from Orvis will be there to lend their equipment and expertise.

Time: 6 to 8 p.m.
Fee: $8 Resident / $12 Non-Resident

Mother/Son Fun Night: Superheroes!
(Ages 4 – 8 years)
Minimum 12 – Maximum 30 couples
Calling all superheroes and super moms (or aunts, grandmothers, caregivers, etc.)! You are cordially invited to attend a fun-filled evening of food, games, projects and more. Together each duo will complete a number of action-packed games to save the day! Costumes are encouraged. Pizza and refreshments will be served.

Fee: Member - $20 per couple / $8 each additional child
Non-Member - $30 per couple / $12 each additional child

Hike Around the Lake
(Ages 11 – 14 years)
Minimum 6 – Maximum 20
No school? Enjoy a guided hike around Peters Lake. Bring along a water bottle; a snack will be provided.

Fee: $5 Member / $8 Non-Member
