Veterans Day Friendship Dinner and Sock Drive
Local Veterans are invited to "Mangia Italian Style" at the 4th Annual "Sock it to a Vet" Day on Veteran's Day, Sunday November 11 at “The Good Ol’ Days House” in North Belle Vernon.

To express thanks to the men and women who have made sacrifices in order to protect our freedoms, a special "Veteran's Day Friendship Dinner" will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM that will feature the Italian favorite - spaghetti & meatballs! All Veterans from all wars are invited to attend. Guests are also encouraged to bring along a new sock donation for men and women that will be donated to the Veterans Homeless Shelter in Washington, PA and distributed to veterans in our local hospitals. The very first year of this event in 2015 we collected 1,111 pairs of socks!
