Wedding cookie tables are all the rage at weddings

The event is being held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Doubletree by Hilton Meadowlands.

At the event, participants will share in a wedding cookie table, see demonstrations of peach cookies, lady locks and ornate sugar cookie decorating and learn various tips about baking and making wedding cookies. There will be a panel discussion on considerations for planning a memorable wedding cookie table. There will be a taste test of gluten-free and traditional cookies and participants will hear about the history of the wedding cookie table.

Interested individuals may visit the Facebook page “The Wedding Cookie Table Community” to learn more about wedding cookie tables. The site was started by Monongahela native Laura M. Magone and has over 7,500 members.

The cost to attend is $25 per person. (Veterans attend the event for free!) For more information, call 724-258-6432 or send a check for $25 to: MAHS, 826 Lawrence Street, Monongahela, PA 15063. Advance registration is required.
