Christmas Craft and Vendor Show Included in Festivities

Downtown West Newton Inc. (DWNI) will be hosting its 17th annual ‘Miracle on Main Street’ - Light Up Night Festival on Saturday November 24 from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

This year’s theme is “Elf on a Shelf”, and activities will be held on Main and 2nd Street in West Newton. The event and all activities are held Rain, Snow or Shine. A schedule of activities planned are listed below:

  • All Day: Music featuring DJ Galiffa played at Center Stage.
  • 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm: Christmas Craft & Vendor Market featuring 30 vendors at the W.N. Presbyterian Church & Senior Center.
  • 3:45 pm: Jimmy Sykes & students Christmas Organ & Music Recital at the W.N. Presbyterian Church.
  • 5:15 pm: Grand Christmas Parade down Main Street.
  • 6:00 pm: Santa Claus arrives with the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree.
  • 6:00 pm: Stage Right! Sensations perform Center Stage along with other musical talents.
  • 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm: Mega Gift Basket Raffle, 50/50 and Lottery Tree raffle at the LeGrande Room – (all proceeds raised help with light up night costs.)

Christmas Craft and Vendor show

The annual Christmas Craft and Vendor show will run from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm in conjunction with the Light Up Night Festival. There will be a multitude of vendors featuring handmade items such as goat milk soap, homemade desserts, country crafts, glass creations, doll clothes plus so much more. Crafters and vendors will be located at the West Newton Senior Center for Active Adults and at the West Newton Presbyterian Church both located on Main Street.
