Each year, over 3 million children witness domestic violence in their homes. As these children start the new school year, let us help them to start it from a safe home.

Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA provides safe shelter and support services for victims of domestic violence and their children.

All services are free and confidential. For more information, call 724-223-9190 in Washington County, 724-852-2463 in Greene County, 724-439-9500 in Fayette County, or 1-800-791-4000. Calls are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It doesn't matter if you are in an abusive relationship or have already left one; Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA empowerment counseling can help you. Our individual empowerment counseling provides one-on-one counseling, information and referrals, and advocacy (general & legal). Would you like a speaker for your school's next parent/teacher organization meeting? The Education and Training Department of Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA is available to discuss a variety of topics and can tailor the presentation to meet your specific needs. To schedule a speaker for your next event or meeting, please contact our Education and Training Department in Washington County at 724-223-5477, in Greene County at 724-852- 2373, and in Fayette County at 724-437-2530. Let us show you ways to help our schools and homes become safer places for our children.

Looking for a way to help others? Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA is looking for volunteers willing to help us at our Washington, Greene, or Fayette county locations. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer we would love to hear from you. Our next volunteer training class starts in the fall and will be held at our Administrative Office in Washington. Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA is hosting its 9th annual Peace Begins at Home Dinner. It will be an evening filled with food, music and good company. The dinner will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at the DoubleTree by Hilton - Meadow Lands. There will be a cash bar at 6 p.m. with dinner being served at 7 p.m. Ticket and silent auctions will be held throughout the evening. Reservations are $60/person and must be received by October 1.
