On September 9, 2014, City Mission, a local homeless and rehabilitation center, held its 9th Annual Ladies Golf Scramble. At 9 a.m., 140 ladies headed on to the course, teeing off in an effort to end homelessness one life at a time. This event has been held at Fort Cherry Golf Club since 2006.

Kristy Behanna, Kathy Smith, Karen Brown, and Sandy Westcott – Nemacolin Team and winners of the City Mission 2014 9th Annual Ladies Golf Scramble.

After a beautiful day of golf, the ladies enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by Fort Cherry Golf Club's staff, had an opportunity to win some prizes and hear from guest speaker and President/CEO of City Mission, Dean Gartland. Most importantly, guest speaker Carol was able to share about her time spent in the women's shelter, Avis Arbor, and how the program helped transform her life from homelessness to independent living.

Thank you to all businesses, organizations and individuals who supported this event financially, through in-kind donations and participation! See you on the green next year!
