The Mid Mon Valley Cultural Trust (MMVCT) recently received a letter of congratulations and notification that they will be receiving an official Washington County Landmark plaque in the near future.

Coyle Receives Landmark Status1
The Coyle Theatre in Charleroi Received Landmark Status from the Washington County History & Landmark Foundation in April 2015.

April 28, 2015 is the date that The Coyle Theatre, circa 1891-1927, received approval for the Washington County Landmark status and will be included on that listing hereafter.

The MMVCT Board of Directors will be officially placing the plaque on The Coyle sometime in the near future for this designated Landmark in Charleroi’s National Registered Historic District. The Board expresses their deep appreciation and gratitude to the Washington County History & Landmark Foundation for this award and the support from all those who likewise appreciate the recent work that has gone into the efforts to improve the project site. Improvements and renovations to the Coyle Theatre continue, and will benefit the community of Charleroi and the mid-Mon Valley.

Anyone wishing to support and/or contribute to The Coyle Theatre Project may send contact and/or donations to: MMVCT, 335 McKean Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022, or to leave a message or for more information, call: 724-483-4961.
