School's out in June and the Charleroi Area Historic Society invites all area residents to come for a round table discussion about their "good 'old school days!"

Bring your memorabilia to show what it was like when you were in pre-school, kindergarten, elementary/grade school, middle school and/or high school. How about year books, class photos, awards/trophies, prom pictures? What kinds of report cards were used? Do you still have artwork or written essays or other things you've kept because they mean so much to you? Do you have some really funny (or sad) stories that make the "good 'old days" unforgettable? What comes to mind for you that will be fun sharing at one of the round tables in Riverside Place in the SPHS Plaza building (formerly Montgomery Ward) on Monday, June 20?

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The program begins at 7 p.m. with light refreshments being served. Admission is free and you do not have to be a Society member to attend. Look for directional signs at the corner of Fifth and McKean Aves. and in the plaza parking lot.

Looking ahead…the Society invites everyone to its annual Olde Fallowfield Twp. Reunion Picnic on Monday, July 18. More details will be in next month's Messenger.

The Society meets on the 3rd Monday of the each month March through November.

For more information, call the Society located in the historic Goaziou Print Shop building at 807 Fallowfield Ave. at 724-483-4961.
